Mild tangerine with nicely integrated minerality and notes of watermelon
Beautiful light rose´, with delicate notes of rose petal and grapefruit. A dedicated, Provencal-style dry Rose´ that resonates fruit & sublime balance. Wine Review: This orangish pink colored wine from Napa is very good. It opens with a Shirley Temple like bouquet with a hint of maraschino cherry and a twist of orange peel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild tangerine with nicely integrated minerality and notes of watermelon. I also detected hints of mild wild strawberry and maraschino cherry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I could drink a lot of this wine. I would serve it with shrimp scampi. Enjoy - Ken Winemaker Notes: Named "Ingrid & Julia" after Julie's favorite garden roses, "Ingrid Bergman" and "Julia Child" because it is so graceful, enticing and delicious. This rose is made from mostly Zinfandel with a bit of Petit Sirah, all sourced from organic vineyards in Napa Valley. It's a beautiful wine with a spicy accent.
